Feature popular social posts on the home page
In a new rotator module, you can now display popular posts from the social feed or forum. When users click on a post, they are sent to the post’s page within the feed or forum.
The module automatically updates as different posts become more popular. It displays the post’s text, image (if there is one), and forum topic (for forum posts only). You can choose to not display the forum topic.
You can place the module on any module page on your site, but we recommend the home page. This is a great way to advertise your social feed and forum and attract users there.

Create new forum topics
Site admins can now create new forum topics directly from the forum home page. Give a topic a name, description, and tags. (You select from tags that were pre-created in your backend content management system.) After creating a topic, site admins can also edit it or delete it.

Email notifications for direct messages
You will now get email notifications for direct messages. One email is sent for a message request, the first time a new person messages you. Another email notifies you about all of your direct messages. It sends once per day, as long as you got new messages that day.
The email includes a link to your messages and the option to unsubscribe from direct message notifications.
The subject line automatically pulls in your platform’s name (the “social title” that appears on browser tabs). You can configure your own logo and brand color to replace the default JUNO branding.

Set session eligibility criteria
You can set new criteria to control which sessions users can add to their schedules.
If you set a session is set as exclusive, a user can’t schedule any other sessions within that exclusive session’s entire time block. This is an example scenario:
Sessions A & B are scheduled to occur on the same day and during the same time block.
Session A is set as exclusive.
A user adds Session A to their schedule. When they try to attend Session B, a pop-up notifies them that they can’t.
You can require users to add certain sessions to their schedule before they can add other sessions. If you select multiple sessions as prerequisites, users need to schedule all of them. This is an example scenario:
Session A must be on a user's schedule in order for them to schedule Session B.
A user tries to schedule Session B without having Session A also scheduled. When they try to attend Session B, a pop-up notifies them that Session A is required.
You can prevent users from adding sessions to their schedules. You might want to do this if a session is paid, and not available for everyone. Making a session NOT schedulable removes the Attend button from the session page and the schedule page. But, the session still appears on the schedule page and remains active. Only people with a direct link or who have been given access can get into the live session.
Forum topics now list how many posts you have read (Read) and how many you haven’t read yet (Unread). This helps you find new posts that were created since you last visited the forum.

Continuing Education (CE)
The description field for CE entries now allows more than 255 characters so that you can write a longer description.
Replaced the “invalid email” error message with a new message:
Verifying your account. You should see a new magic link in your email if everything checks out!This strengthens the platform's security.
In-person sessions now have front-end editing tools. This means that anyone with editing permissions can adjust settings by clicking the Edit button on an in-person session page.
You can now designate the correct answer to a question from the front-end editor. Select the checkbox next to the answer when creating a question. If there is no correct answer, you can leave the boxes unchecked.

Downloaded analytics reports are now sent over email. You can go away from the page and you’ll receive an email when it’s ready.

When importing Fill In The Blank question types, you no longer need to add a placeholder “blank” answer. Leave the Question Answer column empty, and a blank answer will be autogenerated upon import.
You can now attach lessons to tracks (also known as courses) using the importer.
You can now specify hosted MP4s as a video source in the importer.
New configuration options
Before this update, you could already force users to complete their profile when they arrive at the site. But this meant that they had to fill out every form field before continuing to the site. Now, site organizers can choose which form fields are required.
You can now more finely control whether the chat panel is open or closed by default. Choose a different default for each content type and for each web or mobile experience.

You can now change the label for primary navigation items on mobile devices. This means the label can be different on mobile devices and desktop devices. This can help the text fit on small screens.
